Looking to get into the Ohio State tailgating scene and want to make a splash? Don’t want to spend too much money, but don’t want to look like a loser tailgater? There is a Buckeyes bus in Chillicothe, Ohio that seems to be well-maintained and ready to roll down the highway for gamedays.
From the seller:
1985 GMC conversion bus. 66,690 actual miles. V-8 with automatic Allison transmission and uses regular gas. Fantastic shape, everything in working order….ready for tailgating, family trips, wedding parties, etc. Plenty of seating, 3 lockers, huge ice cooler, tv and stereo system, lots of storge and a porta potty. Buckeye decor outside. Tastefully done. CDL not required. $5800 OBO.
Let’s be very honest here — that price is absolutely fair, especially if your mechanic goes over it and doesn’t find issues under the hood. Look at how clean the inside of the bus is. That’s pure Ohio right there. The owner takes pride in keeping his bus clean. That means he keeps the oil changed and takes care of things.
Of course there are a couple changes you could make here. It needs a TV upgrade. Maybe hang a curtain for the toilet. Small things. Come in at $4,950 and I’d say the owner will bite.
