Flying Easter Bunny Takes Out Teddy Roosevelt in Presidents Race

Teddy Roosevelt owns 48 career victories in the Washington Nationals’ ever-popular Presidents Race, and looked to make it 49 on Opening Day. Unfortunately, the Easter bunny had something to say about that.

As you can see above, Teddy appeared to have the win in hand when a flying Easter bunny leaped from a railing and clotheslined the 26th President of the United States. This allowed William Howard Taft to cruise to his 23rd victory — much to the pleasure of Twitter:

Teddy gets taken out by the Easter Bunny & Taft wins the Presidents Race! Does that make any sense? Who cares, so long as Teddy loses!

The Easter bunny just [wrestling move]ed Teddy. Brutal holiday-themed Prez Race.
