Louis Williams Hero Ball is Not the Recipe for Success

If you look at the box score — and only the box score — of tonight’s Raptors-Pistons game, it looks like Raptors sixth man Louis Williams had himself a solid night. 19 points on 11 shots, plus three three-pointers is about right for him.
However, if you actually watched the game, you witnessed Raptors coach Dwane Casey fail to use his final timeout, and allow Williams to jack up an ill-advised three after wasting 15 seconds of clock. The result, as you can see above, was expected.
