This was sent to us on Saturday night, but I was at a penalty-less ECHL hockey game so you’re now getting the photos of the Houston buddies who snuck into the closed Astrodome a few years ago to give themselves an unauthorized tour of the facilities. The uploader says this happened in 2012.
The Astrodome has been stripped of its seats and a bunch of the goodies that were auctioned off. But the place isn’t dead. It’s actually being taken care of. The outside of the place was actually cleaned in February. The latest proposal, submitted in December, called for turning the dome into an indoor park that would have a grassy lawn.
