You really have to give Dan Hamhuis of the Vancouver Canucks credit for this brawl last night with Jakub Voracek. It would’ve been acceptable for Dan to go down once the blood started blasting into his visor after a wicked shot to the left side of his face. But that’s not how Dan rolls. A bloody visor isn’t going to stop Dan from landing a couple of nice bombs on the side of Jakub’s face in one of the better fights (they’re disappearing so enjoy this while you can) of the season.
Sure, Dan went to the dressing room to get stitched up, but his team won 4-1 and will make the playoffs. The Flyers are pretty much just playing out the final 10 games.
