MLB.com says that’s Tigers farmhand Hernan Perez booting the ball to Andrew Romine, who turns the double play on the Mets during the 5th inning of Friday’s game in Port St. Lucie.
Here’s where things get interesting for the Tigers: There is a battle between these two for one of the utility positions on the Opening Day roster. So Romine looked good on this play, but Perez also made a web gem. THIS BATTLE IS HEATING UP!
