Cubs want special construction hours
So you have the Cubs trying to finish the bleacher renovation project before Opening Day. The winter has been brutal and the crews are behind schedule. So the Cubs want the city to let them work from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Oh, and the Cubs also requested a nonstop, 24-hours a day, seven days a week permit. The city laughed at both requests. So the new Wrigley won’t be ready for Opening Day. Pour one out for the rich guys who own the team. So sad.
Days until spring
16…and I just heard that it’s going to be 47 here next Tuesday. Parts of Lake Erie just might be thawed for Opening Day in Cleveland. Hold off on those snowmobile from Sandusky plans.
