With all this ridiculous talk about the MLB being open to the idea of eliminating shifts, it’s time for players to put an end to that nonsense and take pitches the other way.
Just look at Texas Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder, he’s clearly ready to take what the defense gives him. He hit up a golf range Monday night and decided it would be best to not show off his monster power, but hit some lob shots over to “left field.”
… Or maybe he’s just not that good at golf:
