It looks like the tailgate bus market is hot this week if you’re an Ohio State fan with money to spend.
On Monday, we showed you a pretty sweet “Buckeye Nation” bus that came loaded with satellite TV capabilities, speakers, and even a wheelchair lift for $9,900. But if that’s too rich for your blood, we’ve come across a solid alternative bus for $8,000.
According to the seller:
The Silver Bullet is a 1990 converted short school bus that has side benches featuring underneath storage. It has a mounted flat screen TV, on board stereo, and a built in chest refrigerator for road trips. The Bus is well maintained and has a check up every year. I just put a brand new set of batteries in it. Diesel engine, runs great!
The tailgate setup includes 2 generators, satelite dish and tripod, surround sound system, 3 different canopy tents including side walls (1 12X24, 1 12X12, 1 8X8), 4 tables, 12 chairs, OSU cornhole boards, propane heater, grill with extra propane tanks, giant Jenga game, flag pole with 3 flags (USA, OSU, pirate), microwave, coffee maker, coolers, trash cans, and tons of cables, plateware, serving dishes, crockpots, etc., etc., etc.
Our tailgate was a finalist for best tailgate on the CBSSports Network show Tailgate Fan: College Edition.
Boom. It’s cheaper than Monday’s bus, comes with similar extras (sans free flatscreen TVs), and almost won an award for best tailgate. Maybe invest in a “less rustic” paint job and you can push this baby over the top to get that honor from CBS.
