Bill Walton and Dave Pasch’s road tour continued to the Arizona-Colorado game Thursday night, and you just knew there would be gems with Bill in Boulder.
Late in the first half, the duo touched on February 26 birthdays and kicked it off with ol’ Buffalo Bill Cody. Their exchange:
Bill: On his way to Chicago. Grateful Dead, 4th of July, let’s go. Spark it up. Who else we have?
Dave: …That’s it.
Bill and Dave are just in an unreal groove at this point, it’s absolutely must-see television.
And the night only got better considering they had the creator of “Bill Walton Bingo,” Jake Shapiro, sitting behind them. Walton couldn’t help but marvel at Jake’s excellent stoner-looking dad and talk sacramental participation.
