1987 Seahawks Tailgate Bus For Sale—Just $4,000

Did you slip by the Grim Reaper after passing on that creeper Seahawks van we profiled a month ago? Then we have good news! A 1987 Ford E-350 shortbus has hit the Seattle Craigslist market, and it isn’t terrifying at all!
Deets from the seller:

The entire inside was gutted leaving only the original dash column and steering wheel to make room for its complete make over. New seats, carpeting, diamond plating, and a professional paint job were some of the features included in this face-lift. With permission from the Seahawks, the newly installed seats featured custom-designed vinyl logos made especially for The Hawx Box.
The Outside of this tailgate machine has been professionally painted in Seahawk blue, and adorned with Seahawk and Hawx Box decals. If you look closely, you will see such finishing details such as the Ford emblem badges that have been replaced with Seahawks badges. As most people know, it’s the details that truly take these types of tailgate vehicles to the next level. There is also a custom hitch installed to tow your smoker or bbq behind it.

Although I’m not a Seahawks fan, I have to say that paint job is pretty nifty. And you always have to appreciate a person who pays attention to the little things—in this case, it’s the replaced Ford emblems.
If you’re wondering what the bus looked like prior to its makeover, here you go:

I say if you’re a 12th man’er looking to make an offseason splash, go for it. Find out if the engine’s still in solid shape, how much mileage is on it, and make a fair offer. Maybe you’ll be able to negotiate the price down from $4,000 if you complain enough about the fake URL (TheHawxBox.com) painted on the back. (We all know it’s the lone dumb addition.)
