It wouldn’t be Alex Rodriguez if his public apology to Yankees fans didn’t have some sort of twist. In this case, he decided a handwritten note would be the way to go to apologize for using PED’s (again) and talk about his aspirations toward being a great teammate this season. Oh yeah, and it’s in cursive—you know, that crap elementary schools forced you to learn for unknown reasons.
But it turns out the Internet is all about the art of penmanship, and is slowly moving towards being pro-A-Rod. It’s absolutely bizarre but apparently people love a man with cursive in his arsenal:

Using baseball’s 20-80 scale, I’d grade this at about a 60. There’s definitely some more ceiling if he can learn to control the copy and keep it from swaying.
