ESPN’s “Sport Science” says the odds of a basketball player hitting two half-court shots in the same game are around 1-in-2,500. So the odds of hitting back-to-back half-courters in a rec league have to be way higher than that.
That’s the Giffords (Utah) rec basketball team going back-to-back last night in a 70-55 win over the Swaggers.
