National championship ticket prices
The get-in price on Tuesday for the Oregon-Ohio State game was $570. Today it’s down to $473. Forbes says that Oregon had trouble selling its allotment for the Rose Bowl and that Ohio State is selling tickets to fans at $470 – face value.
Jon Jones…cocaine
So the champ had cocaine in his system when he beat Cormier. Big freakin’ deal. The sad thing here is that as soon as it was announced, it was also announced that Bones was going into a drug rehab. That’s just PR. If the guy needed a little coke to get him through training and the thought of some other guy trying to break him in half, so be it. If I’m going to pay $60 for a PPV, I want these guys at peak physical condition. If you’re going to barbarian, be a barbarian. I’m cool with it.
