It’s common knowledge that leaving your feet to make a jump pass is generally a bad idea—unless you’re a gifted four-time NBA champion like Manu Ginobili.
During the first quarter of the Spurs-Pistons game, Ginobili once again displayed his supreme passing ability while playing some pick-and-roll with Jeff Ayres. As you can see above, Ginobili fakes a pass to Boris Diaw in mid-air after receiving the screen from Ayres, and then somehow goes back to the man formerly known as Pendergraph for the slam and foul.
