Rolando McClain’s Northport, Alabama house burned to the ground last night in a spectacular blaze that “burned nearly to the ground,” according to local media. The other bad news is that Rolando had been trying to sell the 7,487 sq. ft. lake property for $1,500,000. The house had been on and off the market since 2012.

According to his realtor:

Privacy! Privacy! Privacy! 4 Absolutely Gorgeous Acres with 500+ feet on Lake Tuscaloosa – Beautiful 2 story brick home with finished full walkout basement underneath. Deck and patios overlooks fabulous pool, landscaped yard, boathouse and spectacular views of Lake Tuscaloosa (big water, gentle walk to water, no stairs). Beautiful all brick home with 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths. Large and spacious Formal Dining Room, Living Room, Family Room, Master Bed and Bath and Kitchen, all are on main floor, all with views of Lake Tuscaloosa. 4 Beautiful private Acres, located at end of Waters Edge Dr., a private road shared by 4 families.

And it’s all gone. I even see a LeBron poster in the foyer that, if it hadn’t been removed, would’ve been lost to the destruction. So sad.
