Take the remote, hand it off to your wife/girlfriend and pretend you’re cool with her watching Christmas shows. Maybe she watches the Christmas light fight that was on ABC last night. Maybe she finds some Christmas cookie show on the Food Channel. Maybe she catches some HGTV. Just sit back and act like you’re into what she chooses. The bowl games are near and you’ll need that remote for the next three weeks. It’s a weak college basketball and NBA night so you’re not really missing anything. Trust me, giving up the remote will be a good thing down the road.
