Ryan Leaf's Parole Photo

Ryan Leaf was released from a Montana state prison on Wednesday after spending about 2 1/2 years in jail for continued issues with drugs. The parole photo, as you can see, wasn’t pretty for the for #2 overall pick in the 1998 Draft.
According to the Great Falls Tribune, Leaf probably won’t face additional jail time for trouble he got into when he was working as a football coach in Texas.

The Associated Press reported earlier that it’s unlikely Leaf will have to serve any more time in prison in Texas. On Aug. 27, Texas state District Judge John B. Board sentenced Leaf to five years suspended in each of two drug cases stemming from his time in Texas, where he was quarterbacks coach at West Texas A&M.
Leaf resigned from the Division II school after being accused of burglarizing a player’s home in 2008. The investigation uncovered that Leaf had illegally obtained nearly 1,000 pain pills from area pharmacies, allegedly using incomplete medical histories to obtain prescriptions from different physicians.

Leaf is listed as 6-6, 250 on his Montana Department of Corrections page.
