So just over a week ago I received a message from a longtime BC supporter who tipped me off to Bo Wallace’s hairstylist in Nashville. Just when I thought something so mundane as the woman who cuts Bo’s hair wouldn’t do anything on the Internet, it went nuts. Our old friend Clay Travis was intrigued. The Clarion-Ledger blogged about it. Fans on Facebook started sharing it across the South.
The post is still being shared by SEC fans.
One thing leads to another and words starts to spread. We’re not talking about big cities here. Word gets out that some blog called Busted Coverage is looking for SEC hairstylists.
Kaycee answers pressing questions:
What are your emotions like when CBS or ESPN cameras show Dan or Megan? Do you get nervous for their hair?
I love being a hairstylist and I take great pride in the work that I do. So of course, if I see Megan on TV or at the State game I’m making sure that her hair is looking good, because that’s a reflection on me and the work that I do. Megan is such a genuinely, sweet person, I love doing her hair and visiting with her when she comes in. And I’ve only done Dan’s hair a couple of times when his regular hairstylist couldn’t fit him in, but he was just so friendly each time I saw him.
Do you feel any pressure now that your hair customer coaches the #1 team in the country?
Well, I can’t speak for Dan, since I really don’t see him on a regular basis. But I know Megan is just enjoying this whole season, we all are here in Starkville!
What should Bret Bielema do with that rooster thing he has going on in the front?
I don’t think Bret’s hair is so bad! He has a nice cut and he seems to style it very well.
Besides Dan, what SEC coach has the best style going on?
I think that Steve Spurrier has great hair. I mean he is an older man, but he still has a head full of hair. Maybe it’s the stress of the job making the other coaches lose theirs earlier! 😉
