Royals Broke The Streak
K.C. became the first home team since Baltimore in 1979 to lose a Game 7 of the World Series. Congratulations. The Royals shouldn’t feel too bad. They only had to hit against Bumgarner for 21 innings, managing just nine hits and a run. You only lost to a guy who will go down as the greatest playoff pitcher of his generation and one of the best in baseball history. Feel no shame, Kansas City.
RIP Imperial Palace
Remember the IP? Remember the smoke stank? The overall stank from the shithole? Yeah, it’s all gone and the place now looks trendy just like every other Strip casino. $230 million later and the place is no longer a dive. I actually feel sorry for all the 22-27-year-old bros out there who will never experience a Vegas dive vacation with the boys. The shitholes are gone forever. I’m talking Holiday Inn Boardwalk shithole where City Center is now located. Those were the shithole days.
