I’ve been doing this for 6+ years and it never gets old when Halloween rolls around and some little kid is in a Mike Ditka 1980s coaching costume with the Bears sweater, slacks, stache and sunglasses.
This year mom @AmberFilip took things to the next level and let her Little Ditka suck on a cigar. I can’t remember seeing another kid over the years with that element. I’m not sure another kid in a plain Ditka costume would’ve gotten a standalone post. You go to the cigar level and it becomes post material.
One thing leads to another and Little Ditka is on Bleacher Report, the front page of Huffington, Buzzfeed, etc., which then leads to one of those LOL moments on the Chicago news where the anchors fake laugh at yet another Little Ditka.
