Royals fans waited 29 years to get lit up by the Giants and Madison Bumgarner in Game One of the World Series. K.C. finds itself in the same scenario as 1985 when the team lost the series opener to the Cardinals and won in seven. Don’t get sad, Royals fan. Bumgarner has now given up one run in three career World Series starts (3-0). That’s 22 IP and one earned run in his career. As I said last week, this guy is going to get Kershaw money in a couple years.
