I took one look at the photos of DeAngelo Hall’s Cape Charles, Virginia house that’s on the market for $995,000 and realized the place wasn’t for me. Look at where the TV is next to the stairs. That’s the worst TV location I’ve ever seen. Where do you even put the couch? The recliner?
And what’s up with the pool looking green while D Hall is trying to sell the joint. Not cool, bro. You either close the pool or make sure it’s Caribbean blue. The rest of the place is just boring. Maybe one of you will be impressed with the plantation style and jump on the 4 bedroom, 4 full bathroom (3 half-baths) palace. The place looks huge, but is only 4,216 sq. ft. Don’t get fooled on this one.
According to the realtor:
Twin staircased foyer with soaring ceilings welcomes you to a luxurious living space. Dramatic fireplace, open kitchen floorplan, high end appliances, butler’s pantry, lutron package, state of the art media room, outside kitchen, pool, veranda & more. Formality juxtaposed with a contemporary casualness equals perfection!!Master suite with adjoining sitting room shares a see thru fireplace. Private entrance from the master bath to veranda & outdoor space.
Oh, OK.
Other highlights of DeAngelo’s Pad:
• 2-car garage!
• Tons of cabinet space in the laundry room
• The worst man cave bar I’ve seen in an athlete house in years
• 55 minutes to Whole Foods
• 4 hours from Fed Ex Field
Mortgage: Just over $4,000/mo. before you start figuring in taxes and cooling costs for all that soaring ceiling space
