Greg Oden Passing Time At Bar While Waiting For Felony Battery Trial

He went to a wedding, an Ohio State game and now Greg Oden was spotted hanging at another bar while waiting for his November trial for a felony battery charge that was dropped on him after he admitted to bashing in his girlfriend’s face after a night at the bars.

Let me remind you what happened this summer when Greg was at a bar, came home to his mother’s house and things got out of control.

Oden placed one of the two 911 calls made from the residence to police after the altercation, according to court records. There, he admitted he got into a fight with his ex-girlfriend. “I already know how this [redacted] gonna go,” he said. The dispatcher asked Oden if an ambulance was needed.
“Um, somebody is bleeding, so yes,” he said. “But it’s not that deep. So yes, send an ambulance.” The responding officer arrived at Oden’s home around 3:30 a.m. and observed Oden was “calm, apologetic and cooperative,” and that he “took full responsibility for his action.”

Greg’s drinking issues are well-documented. The last place you’d want to see a guy with a gambling problem is a casino. The last place you’d want to see a guy facing a felony battery charge after a night of drinking is bellied up to a bar — even if he isn’t drinking.
But, Greg is a big boy. If he doesn’t have a problem being seen in a bar right now, we’ll gladly show him at the bar.
