College football defense:
Unless your team is Stanford or Michigan State, your school doesn’t play team defense. The “SEC defense” references from 1994-2011 can be buried. Need more proof than the 52 that A&M dropped on South Carolina? Need more proof than the 37 Temple dropped on Vandy? That was a bad 37-7 loss for Vandy. Yes, I saw what Ole Miss did to Boise. That game was a complete disaster, but the Rebels won 35-13. The QBs combined for seven INTs (our friend Bo Wallace threw three).
