Let’s also address that John Calipari is 55 and is in pretty damn good shape for a guy who could let it go a little bit but doesn’t. He’s clearly in better shape than Roy Williams, now 64, who is starting to get grandpa cans. I understand the nine year age difference isn’t really fair, but this is all about recruiting. Basketball players might be able to relate to a solid Coach Cal vs. a droopy Roy. Don’t think for a second every advantage is used in recruiting wars.
