It’s too bad it all had to end like this for Matt Schaub in Houston. He gets run out of town because he’s a terrible quarterback and now the guy has no use for his insane mansion so he’s put it on the market for $4,290,000. Tragic.
Matty Football finished his Houston career with a 46-42 record, including a 12-4 2012 season that fizzled out in the playoffs against the Patriots. It was all downhill after that for Matt. So, there’s no reason to live in the town that hates you. Someone else can shack up in this 10,840 sq. ft. pad.
According to his realtor:
Extraordinary Tanglewood residence situated on over 26,000 sq ft of manicured grounds. Exceptional Robert Dame design built by Dan Parker. Grand reception hall. Elegant formals. Wine vault. Gourmet kitchen open to morning room & den. 1st floor play room. Master suite up w/separate baths & closets. 3 guest suites w/game room + media room up. 3rd floor fitness center + bedroom #5. Elevator.
The place pretty much as it all. I can’t imagine pulling up roots and leaving this all behind, but Matty Football really didn’t have any choice when people burn your jerseys and name a “Pick Six” burger after you.
Other Highlights Of Matty’s Mansion:
• 5 bedrooms, 9 baths
• 3-car, 822 sq. ft. garage
• Outdoor kitchen to cook burgers by the pool
Mortgage: $16,500 or so per month
