I was at lunch today when I got a Zillow alert on a house in Minnesota that I didn’t remember setting. One thing led to another and I realized it was an alert for Jared Allen’s house. He’s selling his six bedroom, four bathroom, 8,500 sq. ft. pad for $1,750,000. Allen paid $1,320,000 for the place in 2009. Jared doesn’t seem to need the place now that he’s signed a 4-year, $32 million contract with the Bears.
According to his realtor:
Stunning former Denali model home with European charm. Premium lot with private, expansive lake views. Main floor owners’ suite with coffee/wine bar, reading alcove and library. Guest/nanny quarters and fully finished garage suite. Minnetonka Schools.
I sorta figured Allen, now 32, lived in a place with beer bongs hanging from the bar and empty kegs littered throughout the pad. Not this place. It looks super clean and way too nice for the DE.
