Buccaneers VP Joel Glazer Dumping Maryland Home – $4.5 Million

Does your family have money?

OK…but does your family have enough money to own an NFL franchise and a Premier League soccer team? Probably not, unless you are one of the Glazers.

You are probably familiar with billionaire Malcolm Glazer, who owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manchester United. Well, Malcolm’s son, Joel, is the co-chairman and executive vice-president of the Bucs. He is selling his massive mansion in Bethesda, Maryland, for $4.495 million.

What does a $4.5 million home include? Pretty much everything: two-story foyer, gourmet kitchen and rooms you’ll probably never set foot in unless you throw a killer party.

It also has a huge outdoor terrace and acres of land just off Congressional Country Club, which has hosted three U.S. Opens and a PGA Championship.

Considering Glazer and his wife, Angela, bought the home for $4.695 million in 2008, the sale represents a $200K loss. The listing doesn’t mention whether or not the home smells like burnt money. You can probably buy a nice candle to help with that, though.

Highlights of Joel Glazer’s Bethesda, Md. House:

• Master bedroom suite with his & her bathrooms

• Library, conservatory, game room and theater

• 5 bedrooms, 7 baths and 3 half-baths

• 11,783-square-feet

• 8.3 miles to the Good Guys Club

• 5.3 miles from Whole Foods
