Fans At Texas Double-A Game Not Phased By Funnel Cloud

As you can see above, baseball podcaster Jasen Southward of had a hell of a seat for the Frisco RoughRiders-Northwest Arkansas Naturals Double-A baseball game near McKinney, Texas on Thursday night.

Southward watched as the game went on despite some funnel clouds gathering in the distance. He tweeted out the amazing picture above just before the game was halted in the bottom of the second inning (tied, 2-2). Seems like most of the Texas fans were like: “Meh.”  [Update: PPD – “Rain”]

The McKinney, Texas area was under a storm watch box, per Fox 4. No confirmed tornadoes had touched down, but weather reports of hail and cyclonic winds make it seem inevitable.

Think the photo is fake? Well, we weren’t sure either, but …
