Texas A&M needs a quarterback to replace Johnny Manziel. Aggies sophomore Kenny Hill might have the edge if his alleged off-the-field exploits on Friday morning count.
According to College Station, Tex. police reports, Hill, 19, was arrested on public intoxication charges early Friday morning.
The Eagle has more (emphasis ours):
Hill was passed out in a planter full of rocks and plants in front of the restaurant-bar when officers arrived, police said in the arrest report.
When asked who the current president of the United States was, Hill reportedly answered “Bush” and told officers his name was “Kennedy,” authorities said.
Public intoxication is a Class C misdemeanor in Texas and punishable by fine.
You’ll remember that Manziel was arrested on false identification charges in June of 2012, six months before he won the Heisman Trophy.
Maybe that means Hill is on the right track. Let’s just hope he’s not a political science major.
