Randy Johnson made $175,550,019 during his MLB career so it’s not about the money. As most of you already know, the five-time Cy Young Award winner works as a photographer. A legitimate, credentialed photographer.
There was @RJ51Photosover the weekend at the Lucas Oil Off Road race in Chandler, AZ doing what you’d expect any guy with 4,875 career strikeouts would be doing.
While attending USC in Los Angeles for three years on a baseball scholarship, I majored in photojournalism. At the same time, I got hands-on experience in the art and craft of photography, shooting for the “Daily Trojan”, our college newspaper, and a small rock n’ roll magazine in Los Angeles.
And then he became a hall of fame pitcher.
If you’re the least bit interested in photography, you’ll want to follow Johnson. He photographs bands, the Arizona desert, dirt sports, racing and random things that catch his eye.
