Miami center fielder Dale Carey just made himself some serious cash over the weekend with this catch against Virginia. The Hurricanes senior can run like a deer, but was a mess at the plate during 2013. He hit just .192 with one home run. This year, his line is MLB draft material; .278 with four dongs, 10 RBI and seven steals.
So…combine the better hitting numbers and an ESPN gem and Carey will be cashing in here in a couple months.
