Ex-NHL Goalie Ed Belfour Dumping Florida Home – $1.1 Million [PHOTOS]

Despite being a Stanley Cup-wining goalie and first-ballot Hall of Famer, Ed Belfour is an under-the-radar hockey hero.
From 1988 to 2007, Belfour piled up 484 wins, the third-highest total in NHL history behind Martin Brodeur and Patrick Roy. He had his best years in Chicago, where he won two Vezina Trophies, and Dallas, where he helped the Stars to the 1999 Stanley Cup.
Belfour also had short stints in San Jose (1997) and Florida (2006-07), where he recently put his home inside Parkland Golf & Country Club on sale for $1.149 million.
If you can scratch together the money, the massive Mediterranean home offers nearly 10,000 square feet of living space and the promise of year-round golfing in Florida weather.
But wait, there’s more…

Highlights of Ed Belfour’s Florida House:

• Chef’s kitchen with island seating
• Patio, pool and spa, and a shaded garden
• 5 bedrooms, 4 baths
• 9,757-square-feet
• 12.6 miles to the Booby Trap Pompano Beach
• 6.7 miles from Whole Foods
