Herschel Walker turns 52 today. The 1982 Heisman Trophy winner and former Pro Bowl running back has always done things that other running backs just can’t…like start a mixed martial arts career in his late 40s, win the Rachael Ray vs. Guy Fieri celebrity chef competition and host Herschel’s Raw Talent shows for aspiring entertainment hopefuls.
Walker hosted the latest competition in Toccoa, Ga. on Saturday. You can watch the highlights in the video above. You may want to lower your volume (it starts off very loud).
According to contest rules, the first-place winner received $1,000 and his own Cinsay Smart Store for online merch, plus “exposure to potentially millions of viewers.”
Bo Jackson gets a lot of credit as the running back who had the most interesting “other” career, but we’ve never seen Bo fighting in an MMA octagon, dishing out shrimp and grits with the help of Vanilla Ice or judging someone tap dancing to a Grease re-mix.
