Scottie Pippen is practically giving his Fort Lauderdale, Fla. house away (if you can give anything away with a price tag of $11.8 million).
The Hall of Fame forward just put the massive home back on the market after it didn’t sell from Dec. 2010 to mid-2013. Pippen originally listed the mansion at $16 million, but then cut the price twice. Still, no sale.
The home has 215 feet of private waterfront property punctuated by a majestic basketball court with an NBA logo at its center. An outdoor kitchen area makes for a perfect post-game refreshment stand.
Considering that Pippen has taken more than $4 million off the original asking price, this home has to be the biggest steal on the market, right? Then again, maybe there’s a Bulls real estate curse: remember how long it took Michael Jordan to sell his home?
