NFL cheerleading squads are serious business. From calendar shoots to games to charitable events, a lot of work goes into presenting the lovely ladies of the sidelines.
Take the Washington Redskins’ cheerleaders: the First Ladies. Because Redskins’ cheerleaders are busy learning dance routines and cheers which help draw attention away from their terrible football team, they don’t have time for things like social media, merch sales and fielding phone calls from horn dogs like you.
That’s why they need an intern:
Duties include assistance with auditions, youth camps, registration, merchandise and daily tasks. The right individual will also assist with sponsors, events such as auditions, draft day, etc. Continuous responsibilities include monitoring the WRC website, Facebook, Twitter and updating contractual postings as needed.
If you …
• can work Tuesday and Thursday afternoon into evenings and don’t mind extended hours
• have strong written and verbal communication skills and possess strong phone skills
• and are a current undergraduate or graduate student eligible to receive college credits, this opportunity could be for you!!!
Note that the posting never, ever mentions a stipend, salary or compensation.
Dust off that resume.
