Busted Coverage is on the streets of New York City this afternoon catching up with the famous — and the not-so-famous — personalities in town for Super Bowl 48.
We ran into a horde of autograph hunters braving the cold temps to get the signatures of NFL players past and present outside the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Seen thus far: Emmit Smith, Roger Craig, Jerome Bettis, Dan Hampton, Maurice Jones-Drew, Jamal Lewis and Brandon Boykin.
Oh, and Saints QB Drew Brees, who stepped away from the guys trying to get his signature like they were a defensive lineman on a bull rush.

The autograph hounds were not to be denied on John “Papa John” Schnatter, who was in town as the company he founded announced its newest spokesperson: Joe Montana. Montana will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial with Papa John’s franchisee Peyton Manning.

Of course Schnatter signs as Papa John. The real question:
@bustedcoverage Who the fuck wants a Papa John's autograph?

We also saw this awesome Broncos fan. This is what the Super Bowl is about:
Our friends at COED caught comedian Gilbert Gottfried wearing a jersey, pads and no pants in an elevator at the Waldorf.

Finally, we noticed this table tent at the Irish Pub on 7th Ave. (bet. 53rd and 54th). Richard Sherman commands a vodka as fine as Tito, doesn’t he?
