When Michigan State knocked off Ohio State for the Big Ten title in December, a grumpy Buckeyes’ fan forwarded us the social media profiles/pictures of Jackie Cook, the fun-loving, photogenic sister of Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook.
Jackie Cook didn’t care; she was too busy planning a trip to Pasadena. With the Spartans appearing in the school’s first Rose Bowl in 26 years, there was no way she was going to miss a chance to cheer on her brother against Stanford AND see the West Coast.
As you can see from the pics above, and in the gallery below, Cook went biking, did a little swimming and sunbathing and took in some of the sights in Southern California over the past week.
She also likely celebrated after Connor Cook passed for a career-high 332 yards, including a 25-yard TD to Tony Lippett early in the fourth quarter that snapped a tie and helped MSU to a 24-20 win over Stanford.
The Cooks are expected to both be back to face Big Ten opponents next season. Connor is just a sophomore, and Jackie looks like she’d be up for a few more bowl trips.
