What we have here is a ref throwing a shoulder on a receiver during a Connecticut state playoff game between Darien and Southington. That’s Darien receiver Hudson Hamill going over the middle for a catch and the run…and then the shoulder shiv from the ref, which causes a fumble.
Don’t get too crazy over this. Darien still won the game 49-7 and Hamill had three touchdown catches.
Still, it sure looks like the ref dropped that shoulder on Hamill.
