Multiple times I’ve written how much I love the security guards at sporting events and how they relive their glory days of high school by trying to lay the smack down on some drunk idiot who ran on the field.
Houston’s security might have taken that a little too far yesterday after multiple videos surfaced of them beating a student while fans were storming the field after the AAC Championship win over Temple.

Keep in mind that these security guards are not employees of the school, they are outsourced employees for these sporting events.

The weirdest part about this whole thing is that there were dozens of students running by these guys and they just decided to pick one guy out and started beating his face in.
Also, this guy is a textbook definition of power going to someone’s head.

It’s all fun and games to see security chasing someone on the field until they get a little too excited and start assaulting people.
