So you didn’t think Kentucky fans care about football? Wrong. And they really care when it comes to losing to hated Louisville. Just ask the grandparents of tough guy Conner Karem, 21, who was arrested for punching his grandparents over a salad and UK’s 38-24 loss to the Cardinals. The loss also means 5-7 Kentucky will be staying home for the holidays. No bowl.
From Fox 19:
LMPD officers were called to the 100 block of Blue Fields Road on Saturday after the football game. That’s where Conner Karem “became violent after a brief discussion regarding salad,” according to his arrest report.
After Karem punched his grandfather in the face and nose, he “proceeded to repeatedly punch his grandmother, even after she fell to the floor,” the report said.
Conner also spit on a cop. Karem’s family told cops that he suffers from seasonal depression (probably shouldn’t be watching football during rivalry week) andĀ Asperger’s, but he can function in life.
He’s also a KentuckySportsRadio.com message board guy and it appears he was busy on Facebook commenting on UK sports before deleting his account.
Conner also gave Twitter a try (@CKTermy23), but he gave up on it in October.
