Have a great video to share. I was a UM’s Youth Day, when I caught Coach Harbaugh do something pretty whacky. I have on video, him taking off his own socks off his feet and giving them to a player, who didn’t have the same socks as the rest of his teammates. Old Harbs doesn’t have a filter… and apparently doesn’t care if his sweaty socks are to be worn my his players. White socks, all the time!
Now, before I go any further, I need to say that this email was sent way back on August 10. There was an issue with the BC redesign and how the “Submit A Tip” emails were being forwarded to my main gMail account. The tips were actually going to my spam folder. Yeah, not a good look. Apologies for that.
Anyway, this video is timeless. It’s just Harbaugh in his element and gives all of us non-believers (that he’s crazy like all the pundits keep saying) reason to believe he’s a wack job. That’s senior running back Drake Johnson receiving Jim’s socks for Youth Day festivities. Drake, who is still recovering from ACL surgery, didn’t play against Utah.
It doesn’t appear that it’s all just an act. Jim just seems to be in the right place at the right time. A coach you can depend on in a pinch.
