Bills head coach Rex Ryan told the Democrat & Chronicle Thursday that the team is looking to keep three quarterbacks on the roster:
“Yeah, I expect to keep three quarterbacks on the roster, I do, that is a true statement,” Ryan said. “I envision three … I will stand exactly by my words. You can look into the meanings if you want.”
With Tyrod Taylor entrenched as the starter (for now), that leaves Matt Cassel, E.J. Manuel and Matt Simms hoping to take the final two spots. However, something tells us Simms’ chances of securing that No. 3 spot may be close to nill after throwing this ridiculous backwards pass Thursday night against the Lions:
