Times are tough for Adrian Peterson. He’s at war with the NFL to get back into the league and he wasn’t doing very well at the craps table in Puerto Rico over the weekend. Don’t feel too bad for Purple Jesus – it’s not like the guy is suffering for money. He was still paid $691,176 per week by the Vikings for the first eight weeks of the season while being suspended.
I have that coming to $5,529,408 in earnings that AP pocketed before mid-November when the NFL dropped the without pay ban hammer for the rest of the season, ending April 15. NFL.com says Peterson lost $4.2 million in salary due to the NFL ban.
That leads us back to Puerto Rico. You’d think he wouldn’t be that mad about losing a few hundred at the craps table.
