LeBron‘s arm on Kate Middleton is the big news of the morning. Was LeBron out of line for putting his arm around the future QUEEN(!)? What was William going to do about it? Was Kate the least bit turned on? Did Kate mind the best (sweaty) basketball player in the world with his arm around her? So many questions.
Of course the British have some sort of issue with the arm over the shoulder. According to the Daily Mail:
Etiquette expert William Hanson told MailOnline that although the Duchess is unlikely to give Mr James the cold shoulder, he still should have kept his arm away from her.
He said: ‘Although I am sure the Duchess of Cambridge won’t have worried about it, Mr James should not have put his arm around her.
‘Americans are much more tactile than we Brits and this is another example of an American being too touchy feely with British royalty. You’d have think they’d have learned by now.’
Said some guy who is stuck in 1933.
Let’s see William do something about LeBron putting his arm around Kate. Don’t we have something else to worry about like ISIS bros chopping off heads? Or that a below .500 team is about to win the NFC South?
