And she’s back!
Kate Upton‘s brief vacation away from Justin Verlander and the Tigers is over and she’s back to cursing both. Pageviews wasn’t with the Tigers on June 21 when Verlander went into Cleveland and pitched seven strong innings of five hit ball, allowing two earned and striking out eight. He didn’t get the win, but the Tigers won the game.
She had been in New York shooting photos for a new Bobbi Brown project. (Just as I suggested — have her do something besides distract JV.)
But, as Page Six reports, she got her ass on a plane and headed to Dallas for the Tigers swing through the state. Then, on Friday night, Verlander gets on the mound with Pageviews in the stands, pitches six decent innings and the Tigers lose in the 11th. CURSE (the numbers don’t lie)!
Let me update the stats:
Without Upton around to distract him: Verlander is 3-1 (she was busy promoting a movie in April when he was winning)
With Upton around to distract him: Verlander is 3-6; he hasn’t won a game since May 30 and is 1-5 since May 14
