No joke: pitchers and catchers report in three weeks…unless you are the Arizona Diamondbacks or the L.A. Dodgers, whose players will report in about two weeks (Feb. 6 and Feb. 8) because those teams open the season with two games in Sydney, Australia on Mar. 22-23.
As you can see in the pic above posted by Mr. Dodgers Baseball to Twitter earlier this week, some fans are more hyped than others for the start of the season.
A cross-hatched baseball diamond, a Brooklyn trolley, the L.A. skyline, Jackie Robinson and Vin Scully = perfect.
Hell, this dude’s back probably smells like a Dodger Dog, which we say with total reverence.
