If Richard Sherman was on your team, you’d love him. As it so happens, Sherman is on the Seattle Seahawks, and they are headed to the Super Bowl.

Sherman batted away Colin Kaepernick’s end zone pass intended for Michael Crabtree into the arms of Seattle’s Malcolm Smith with 22 seconds left in the NFC title game, and the Seahawks soon had a 23-17 win over the 49ers and a Super Bowl berth.

When Erin Andrews pulled Sherman aside for a post-game interview minutes later, the lockdown corner went WWE for the cameras, and social media went crazy. Sherman instantly became a storyline for Super Bowl XLVIII.

Sherman’s next adversaries: Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos, who walloped New England, 26-16, in the AFC Championship Game. Manning and his receiving corps ate up the Pats defense, and not even Tom Brady could rally his team this time.
