Florida Man strikes again. This time it was a bit of a messy situation.
According to a Facebook post from Escambia County Fire Rescue, Florida Man was accidentally “launched” into a garbage truck during a routine trash pickup.
Florida Man required five different firetrucks to come to his rescue.
According to the report, “at 9:46 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, Escambia County Fire Rescue units E1, E12, SQ3, S4, and BC3 responded to a medical incident at the 7900 block of Pine Forest Road. Shortly after arrival, the crew of E1 confirmed that a person was launched into the garbage truck and trapped inside.
“With the use of ladders inside the truck, firefighters were able to safely rescue the patient. Once secured, the patient was transported to an area hospital.”
There are no details on why Florida Man was in the dumpster to begin with, or any updates on his health and condition.
